Jimmy-Berry-ImageJimmy Berry currently serves as President of Buckhorn Waste Services, LLC.  From July 2014 to January 2018, Jimmy was the Vice President of Acquisitions for Buckhorn Energy Services, LLC.  In this role, he was focused on growth opportunities including transaction origination and execution to support the company’s strategic goals.  Jimmy is also a Vice President of Quintana Capital Group, working within the Robertson family office in Houston, Texas.  Jimmy brings more than ten years of energy-related corporate finance experience and currently serves on the board of Buckhorn Waste Services and Quality Magnetite.  Prior to joining Buckhorn and Quintana, Jimmy worked for GulfStar Group, a boutique investment bank in Houston, Texas.  Jimmy began his career in New York, working for Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. as an equity research associate covering the power and utilities industry, and Sabin Commodities, working on the trading floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange.  Mr. Berry received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Business Foundations Certification from The University of Texas at Austin
Rick-Lawler-ImageMr. Lawler joined Buckhorn Energy as Chief Financial Officer in February 2017. Formerly he was the Chief Financial Officer of Summit Utilities, Inc., a natural gas distribution system operator and pipeline construction company. Before Summit, Mr. Lawler served as the Chief Financial Officer of WRC Corporation, an integrated land management and engineering consulting company serving the natural gas pipeline, electric power and transportation industries. Prior to joining WRC, Mr. Lawler provided consulting services to a broad range of companies in the energy industry, performing financial management roles, including infrastructure development, strategy implementation, and control environment establishment. Early in his career, he was employed in financial and operations management positions within Energy-focused companies ranging from start-ups to multi-billion dollar domestic and international divisions. He earned an MBA from Oklahoma City University in 1994 and a BA in Accounting and Political Science from Texas State University in 1978. Mr. Lawler is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Global Management Accountant
Ms Roberts has over 30 years of experience in horizontal drilling and completions, operations and project management, production and environmental engineering and has engineered and implemented salt water disposal facilities. Nancy has consulted as an engineer since 1999 assisting various companies as a drilling and production engineer including Ellora Energy, DDX, United Oil & Minerals, and Chaparral Resources. She has worked overseas extensively in the former Soviet Union, primarily Kazakhstan and South America.  Prior to consulting Nancy worked for almost 20 years for Oryx Energy (now Anadarko).  There she worked in drilling, operations and E,H&S.  She became an Operations Manager which managed a diverse workforce including field operations, production, facility and chemical engineering.  Responsible for drilling programs and supervision of drilling activities.   Responsible for properties in Central and Eastern Texas, Northern Louisiana, Michigan and Oklahoma with gross production of approximately 12,500 BOPD and 125 MMCFD, with a field production workforce of 75 employees.  Nancy is the lead engineer for Buckhorn’s SWD wells and surface facilities.
